IOGP Europe acknowledges the growing needs and expectations of stakeholders for more transparency and communication on business activities and their impacts on climate, environment, social and governance issues, amongst others. Our industry supports the EU objective for meaningful corporate sustainability reporting policies, and believes that effective non-financial reporting may be helpful to our investors, as much as broader societal stakeholders, such as the communities where we operate.
