Vision
IOGP Europe is the European voice of our industry, an enabling partner for a low carbon future. We pioneer excellence in safe, efficient, and sustainable energy supply, and work with policymakers to deliver a policy framework enabling our Members to scale up investments in the EU’s transition towards climate neutrality by 2050.
Mission
IOGP Europe is the Brussels-based policy arm of the IOGP and is the center of its advocacy activity.
IOGP Europe represents the interests of its Members by engaging with European policymakers setting the necessary conditions to enable the oil & gas industry to play an optimal role in contributing to the achievement of EU Energy Transition. We develop constructive joint industry positions on EU Energy & Climate policy issues and communicate them to EU Institutions and European stakeholders to support the EU’s transition towards climate neutrality in a just and inclusive manner.”

With over 90 Members, IOGP fosters dialogue and knowledge exchange, incorporating industry expertise to solve common industry challenges, as the global voice of our industry, pioneering excellence in safe, efficient and sustainable energy. For more than 50 years IOGP has served the upstream industry as a unique forum to share knowhow and good practices. It aims to enhance understanding of the critical role the oil and gas industry plays in the energy transitions to a low carbon energy future.
