IOGP Europe at the CCSA EU Conference 2025

Caterina De Matteis, Senior Policy Manager at IOGP Europe, will be speaking at the upcoming CCSA EU Conference on 14 May in Brussels, in a session focused on unlocking Europe’s CO₂ storage potential.

Organised by the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA), the conference will bring together key stakeholders across the CCUS value chain — from policymakers and technical experts to industry leaders — to explore the role of carbon capture, utilisation and storage in meeting Europe’s climate objectives.

The agenda will include discussions on:

• The current state and future outlook for CCUS in Europe
• Cross-border cooperation and infrastructure for CO₂ transport and storage
• Developments in the European carbon dioxide removal (CDR) market
• Building a strong case for CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilisation)
