IOGP Europe’s Managing Director to Speak at Strategic Energy Security Forum in Brussels

Our Managing Director, François-Régis Mouton, will join senior policymakers and energy executives on June 4, 2025, at the POLITICO conference organized by Orlen in Brussels.
“Energy security or green revolution: Can the EU have both?”

The event brings together EU officials, national leaders and industry voices to examine one of Europe’s most pressing questions: how to reconcile the need for secure, affordable energy with the urgency of the green transition.

François-Régis Mouton will take part in the opening panel on “Securing Europe’s energy supply”, alongside senior representatives from Shell, Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission, and the Polish Ministry of Industry. The discussion will tackle:

• Europe’s overreliance on energy imports,
• The role of U.S. LNG in the EU’s diversification strategy,
• Protecting critical energy infrastructure, and
• How strategic cooperation among member states can strengthen Europe’s long-term energy security.
