Power-to-Methanol Antwerp BV
The Power to Methanol project in Antwerp aims at the construction of a demonstration unit, able to produce 8.000tpa of sustainable methanol. For the methanol production process, the necessary H2 will be produced by wind and solar powered electrolysis whereas the CO2 will be captured by a nearby power plant. The demonstration plant will lead to the save of 8,000tpa of CO2 emissions every year. The sustainable methanol will be used for marine and road transport.
