North-C-Methanol

The North-C-Methanol project aims at the construction of two pilot plants. The first plant, a 65-MW electrolyser will produce green hydrogen whereas the second one will use this green hydrogen to convert the collected CO2 emissions of major local industries into green methanol. The North-C-Methanol demonstration plant (63MW electolyser) to start in 2024 / Upgrade to to full scale (300MW electrolyser) by 2028 / Upgrade to extra large (600MW electrolyser) by 2030.
