Go4ECOPlanet

The Kujawy Go4ECOPlanet CCS project aims to make Holcim’s Kujawy Cement Plant one of Europe’s first net-zero-emission cement plants. It will capture 100% of CO₂ emissions from clinker production, preventing over 10 million tons of CO₂ in 10 years—10% of Poland’s annual cement emissions. Captured CO₂ will be transported to the North Sea for permanent storage. Scheduled for 2027, funded with €228M from the EU, it demonstrates scalable CCS technology for industrial decarbonization, advancing green construction and economic growth in Poland.
