ECCO2
ECCO2 is a CCU project applied at LafargeHolcim’s cement plant in Carbonera, Spain. The CO2 Capture installation will be initially capable to capture 10% of the total 0.7 Mtpa of CO2 emitted by the cement plant, but at latter stages this percentage will increase to 100%. The captured CO2 will be used to improve the agricultural performance of the greenhouses by enriching their indoor environment with CO2 (carbonic fertilisation).
