CalCC

CalCC project aims to decarbonize Lhoist’s lime production plant located in Réty, France using a novel capture technology (CryocapTM). The project is considered to be the first-of-its-kind, will have a capture capacity of 600,000 tons of CO2 per year starting in 2028, whereas the liquefied CO2 will be shipped for geological storage in the North Sea.
