C2PAT
Carbon2ProductAustria (C2PAT) is a CCU project that plans to capture 700.000 tons of CO2 annually emitted by Lafarge’s cement plant in Mannersdorf, Austria. The aim is to use the captured CO2 for the manufacture of high-quality plastics, olefins and green fuels by nearby industries. The demonstration plan with a capture capacity of 10.000 tons per year is planned to be ready by 2025 whereas the full scale industrial plant will be ready by 2030.
