ACCSION

Air Liquide and Aalborg Portland’s ACCSION project will capture and store 95% of CO₂ emissions from cement production at the Aalborg site using CryocapTM technology. This process captures, purifies, and liquefies CO₂ for storage, significantly reducing emissions from clinker production—a major CO₂ source. Set to be operational by 2029, ACCSION aims to prevent 1.5 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
