CO2nnectNow

CO2nnectNow aims to collect and store temporarily the captured CO2 from nearby industries and ultimately connect the port of Wilhelmshaven (Germany’s only deep-water port) with the offshore storage sites at the Norwegian and Danish North Sea. The project aims to start operations by 2028 with 10 Mtpa of transport capacity (shipping). By 2032 the transport capacity of the project will be expanded to 40 Mtpa (offshore pipeline).
