RECODE

The RECODE project will capture and use the CO2 emitted by the cement industry in order to produce added-value additives in a circular-economy-approach. More specifically, the flue gases of a rotary kiln (which contain 25 vol% of CO2) will be used for the production of chemicals (acid additives) and materials (CaCO3 nanoparticles) which can then be used by the cement industry.
