H2GE Rostock
The project aims to the construction of an hydrogen and carbon hub in the Rostock area and to the repurposing of 400 km gas pipeline for hydrogen use. More specifically, natural gas from Norway will be imported for the production of 230.000 tons of blue hydrogen annually. The associated CO2 emissions will be captured, liquified and shipped to Norway for permanent offshore storage.
