Twence CO2 capture plant

The project involves the construction of a modular CO2 capture unit at the Twence Waste To Energy plant which is located near Hengelo, at the Netherlands. The CO2 capture unit, will have a capacity of 100.000 tpa making renewable energy production from residual waste even more sustainable. The capture unit will be operational in 2023 with the CO2 captured to be used in greenhouses and other industrial uses. There are no plans for CO2 storage.
