Orca

Climeworks' Orca plant is the world’s first and largest Direct Air Capture and mineral storage plant. Orca plant was built in 15 months, has been in operation till Sept 2021 and has the capacity of capturing and storing 4.000 tons of CO2 per year. More specifically, the CO2 which is captured from the atmospheric air is mixed with water and injected into nearby basaltic rock-formations to be permanently turned into stone.
